after all this stuff about how poorly girls performed in the dew tour and now this Nine Queens event. i have come to wonder, are snowboarder girls any better than the skier girls? has their progresion been better than ours? is there any snowboarder girl who is actually good?

Clark used to go big in pipe but I think she is done competing now. Other than that they are all pretty lame. Pipe is alright, slope is downright pathetic. They go crazy when girls do sevens. Its really sad.

I feel like both sports are pretty on par with one another in respect to the womens side of things. It seems like there are a handful of truly talented girls in skiing and snowboarding that are pushing the limits of their sport and continue to improve and progress every year. Then there is the majority of them who do the same old stuff and do enough to stay sponsored and involved in the sport but are just mediocre.

Yeah Kaya is a sick skier, but when she competes its pretty lame.
Her Eye Trip seggy was really impressive i thought, she had some really sketchy urban.

also a girl (dunnno her name) can dub flat 7? i think that is sick, but we wanna see that in a comp PLEASE, it would just raise the bar so high

i dont' think you should take too much away from that last dew tour stop. they were just having a hard time making the knuckle, much less throwing anything big. i'll bet the next stop (assuming good conditions) will be much better.

whats strange to me is that back in my racing days the girls were not too far off of the guys. i know tons of girls who can shred a course. maybe its just that the more athletic girls drift to more competitive sports?

Its a fact that girls get it wayyyy faster.

its because girls are weaker than guys. they get injured easier, and recover slower. thinking about it now it kinda sucks because theres a lot of girls that send it, but genetically they just can't keep up with what the top guys are doing. its like that in every sport though

OH MY GAAWD

who cares, every body knows that bitches cannot physically take the amount of impact that guys can. But it is fucking ridiculous that bitches demand the same prize money as men. Bitches skiing is not even a market, i garauntee there is no more than a handful of girls who have ever bought a product because of a female pro skier rocking it. There is literally no market value for womens competative freeskiing as not one girl in the world apart from a few on this site buys skis because they see some pro riding on them. bitches buy skis that look cool, therefore there is no need to waste so much time and money on a side of our sport that doesn't exist.

firstly i am a bitch, secondly what i said is totally valid and true,

We by all means i think should be aloud to compete in all proffessional contests, but prize money comes down to facts. And the facts are, womens freeskiing is not worth nearly anything, that is why it is not fair that we should be payed the same as men.

The video from the Nine queens article has that girl Virginie doing like 3s with fuckin bad safety grabs over and over, they didn't even look good (to me at at least) and I think one mute and one 7.

When I'm seeing Tim Durtschi doing cork 7 and cork 9 and making it look easy in the BC or just a lot of snow in the smith ad, I expect a little more and women gymnastics, they do crazy shit, why can't they do ANYTHING close to all those flips and spins they do there, ya ya I know it's different.

I just expect at least smooth tricks from the comp, maybe not huge but at least make em look like they can do it blindfolded.

this is true, igirls are 4 time more likely than guys to get it (i think i hurd that somewhere), then if a girl is on the rag (sorry) theres even more chance of getting an injury to the knee, so yer i guess she right, it could be that men are generally stronger i dont no...
