Sizing up with intuition liners?

Yes or no? If yes, how much?

More info: I can fit into both a 26.5 and 27.5 Dalbello Krypton shell. With the regular liners in, the 26 is VERY snug but not painful. My toes and the side of my feet in the arch are probably tighter than what most people would consider comfortable. The 27's are probably closer to a more traditional fit, one does feel a little long on my shorter foot though. My main worry with this size is that I may be swimming in them once they pack out.
Here's the problem, the boots I tried on don't have the intuition liner, and the shop I need to order from (pro deal) doesn't stock any Dalbello's that do. And I've settled on ordering a boot with the liner. So how will an intuition liner affect the fit of the boot? I've read on here that it may make it feel smaller. And can the liner take footbeds, Superfeet are what allowed me to get into the 26 shell without being in pain. And will it pack out? If the intuition liner makes the boot feel any smaller I'll have to bump up to the 27 shell.
Thanks in advance for the help, cheers.

Intuition liners will take footbeds. Also, with proper heatmoulding (toecap etc.), you shouldn't have a problem fitting into the smaller shell. I wouldn't go larger to avoid temporary discomfort because you may end up compromising the longevity of your boots when they pack out and you lose performance completely.

depends on what Intuition liner you order (they have a few different kinds)...

The traditional gold? At least do yourself a favor and get the overlap style.

Yeah, the silver overlap that comes with the Il Moro.

Those aren't the stock intuition liners. Get a prowrap from svst. Have a fitter mold it for you.

because the intuition liners when molded can get paper thin where they need to be. if anything you would size down, not up

go with the 26... you can make a boot larger, not smaller.

sorry if this is a dumb question, im not really familiar with liners.. but. my boot fits a little big, so i was wondering if i got a thicker liner, would it make the fit better?

yea, size down, always. You'll thank yourself as your liners pack out. the other thing thats REALLY important to remember with the ID liners is that they feel horrible before they are warmed up and molded a bit. dont let the cold fit fool you. theres more room in there than you think.

Another question about Intuitions.. when it says "high, medium, and low volume" liners on there site, what does that mean? Is it like the same liner with different amounts of padding or space it takes up? I have a 26.5 SPK that might be slightly big and may go with a 26 liner but don't know what "volume" to get

SPK is a huge boot. Go with the highvolume.
All times are Eastern (-5)
