Tuning bases for rails/ ice +K

How should I tune my skis for park but also ice (I live in VA, so its rarely all snow, and instead icy) . I know that everyone says to dull down all your edges for landings, but I only have one pair of skis to use. What are my best options to sharpen/ dull my skis so that I can slide rails without catching and still keep an edge when I'm skiing on icy conditions

A Whetstone. It will detune your edges without permanently dulling them. It's like a sandstone type thing, pretty cheap

A sanding sponge fine/medium, it can be bought at any local hardware store.
All times are Eastern (-4)
