i work at a shop, i can get good boots, but any penny i can save goes toward better food to eat. it was 250 or 500.

when i sell boots, i always try to get my costumer to go with full custom.

here is the thing. Cut-to-Fit works, but because its just a generic shape, it will never be as comfortable as something that is an exact mold of your foot. i had a guy try on a pair of boots with cut to fits, and he said it helped reposition his toes and his ankle, but the bottom of his foot was killing him. we mad custom footbeds and BAM, problem solved.

get full customs. I dont know much about the intuition liner since we dont sell dalbello or full tilt, but i do know that fully custom footbeds in the liner of a tecnica, nordica, or lange, will feel absolutely amazing

The only problem with getting a Masterfit bed into an intuition is that sooo much of the posting foam has to be ground down. More so than a normal liner. Its no big deal for you, but a pain in the ass for the fitter.

ya, i though off all that first thing, but my issue with the footbed is that since i'm in an intuition, there's no initial footbed to remove, so when i put one in, my foot gets crushed in the boot.

new at this shop too, so i don't get prodeals til february, so this was the best half price deal i could get.

thats what i really do not like about full tilts, along with other things.
im not sure about how to get a footbed to work. talk to the bootfitter in your shop maybe?

Superfeet TTF footbeds are pretty useless, really a real custom is the only way to go for a ski boot. I would not recomend Superfeet Korks in fulltilts. The mid tarsal suport is not bad on Korks but the front of the medil arch is useless so they will not help shorten your foot much. There also so so big they take up so much space in the liner. Sidas would be a much better idea. I usally use a sidas with a DD block. If space is an issue in the liner you can grind down the toes on the beds to make them thinner. Also I do not recomend putting them under the liner it will infact give less suport as it is not sitting directly next to the foot, and less inpact confort as the fatty tissue in the heel is not held corectly by the footbed. Also it is really hard to get the footbed in the correct place in the shell. Put it in the liner and if there is pressure on your instep you could always grind down the boot board. This would create more space in the shell for the liner and footbed. Also heat mold the liners with the footbeds in, with extra foam ontop of your navicular bone. This will push the footbed down into the liner and also create some extra space in the top of the liner. Make sure you get somebody good to make and grind your footbeds I see so many terrible ones that are both moulded badly and either unsurported or stabilised really badly.

sick man, this is the sort of answer i was looking for, i'm probably going to just copy paste this and show it to my boot fitter, and he's pretty legit so i imagine he could pull it off. and i have access to conform'able footbeds so this is doable as well.

i'm getting decent results with a conformable custom bed inside the liners of my konflicts. more than likely, the beds you have in there now are a bit too thick or havent been ground down to fit into the liner properly. i've gotten much better results using custom beds in the liner than trim to fits under the liner like a lot of people propose for intuition liners.
