thats so sick? i wanna kno plan u used and how much money it took for u to make that set up... i wanna do that as like a summer project... maybe make 2 or 3 different guns for maximum snow coverage

the problem is conditions have to be absolutely perfect.

Its actually really easy to make your own. All you need is a compressor and a hose connected to a spigot on the side of your house. Then just go to Home Depot and get some brass fittings so that the water tees in to the air stream with a T joint and get or make a nozzle. Most snowmaking guys at mountains will give you a fan gun nozzle that works well. If not just buy a brass cap at home depot and drill a hole in the end. There's a website that has info on how to make a bunch of different ones. It's like NS but for snowmaking nerds: http://snowguns.com/eve/forums

My brother had one for a science fair. made from a pressure washer, it was pretty sweet but it would cost alot to run for a couple days.

I've always wanted to do this for my backyard but I'm 99% positive my neighbors would either call the cops or burn my house down for spite if they heard the gun and the compressor going all night, and I doubt I'll be able to run into the right conditions during the day where I live.
