Northern Lights Alaska

Watching a TV show about the Northern Lights in Alaska. I started to wonder if there was anywhere you could ski and see them. Does anyone know if this exists?

If it does has anyone done it?

I live in AK and where I live the Northern Lights don't happen all that often, but where there are lots of northern lights, its flat tundra, so it would be pretty hard to catch them while skiing.

I've lived here my whole life and I have never seen northern lights. I blame Anchorage's shitty light pollution.
