dunno if they sell this in the us/canada like they do in belgium, but this is pretty much the ultimate outdoor snack, it's size/energy ratio is ridiculous, it tastes good, is waterproof, 1 bar will last forever and it's cheap as fuck !

+you can model little figurines and naughty things out of it ...

nothing tastes better than marzipan penor !

Its almost like a candy, you definitely feel a boost after eating it. They do say candybars are some of the best power/enerybars you can have.
In my opinion it is pretty filling, i dont know the size of the other guys picture but the kind i eat is a bit smaller then a kingsized candy bar and will fill you up like 3 times more. Ive never taken one skiing but i have them all them time.

The sugar is candy bars are no good for a long day of skiing though. The best snack for energy is trail mix! The nuts give you a good healthy fats(nuts and seeds), some fiber(everything in trailmix), healthy non-animal protein (seeds and nuts), and fructose(dried fruits). If that doesn't say long lasting energy I don't know what does

And don't try and tell me powerbars/protein bars are healthy alternatives to trail mix. The main difference between a protein bar and a candy bar is they use peanuts instead of chocolate, all that sugar and crap is still there.

I am no nutritionist but i know nothing beats trail mix

At the Bird, there is these trail mix infused by marshmallow bars that r to DIE for! so effing good

like unbelievable they have a peanut butter 1 and some chocolate peanut butter and all different kinds if ur ever there stop by the gift shop they have them in store

And the ratio is about 9 or 10:1. So what you're eating is sugar with almond flavor.

if you love sweet stuff, marzipan is the shit, one small brick is enough to fill you an entire day !

+it's pretty much indestructible which makes it excellent for me since my stuff tends to percolate to the bottom of my backpack only to be rediscovered several days later ....

this thread isn't about snacks that will support you skiing for an entire day, if that was the case i'd suggest something with a lot of fibers and slow sugars ...

haven't tried it on the lift, but take a tortilla, spread peanut butter like an inch think on one half, then put a small amount of chocolate syrup on it, then fold and eat like a taco.
