Yes, I know I shouldn't be concerned about the appearance of my skis, but hey, I like them looking nice.
Iv'e heard of alot of people rounding off the edges of the topsheets to make them less prone to chipping. However, I was thinking of taking this a step further and applying a clear vinyl material I have to the edges of the topsheets in hopes that it'll prevent any chipping. The material is made for paint protection on cars...some of you may know it as a "clear bra". It's basically just a really strong clear vinyl though.
What do you guys think of this? I figured I might as well try it since I have it lying around, but I'm worried it's just going to come off in the snow/wet conditions.
And please don't criticize me for being too obsessive about the appearance of my skis, I already know it's a bit much but I just got these and I want to keep them looking good for as long as possible :).
