okay so i can really only give you a review on the lizzies. but here's what they are, a fat park ski. they carve really really well. the eliptical sidecut is sooooooooooo much fun. these skis made carving fun lol. although i still like to straightline stuff a lot. i haven't washed an edge on groomers yet. they even hook up well on ice. but they are soft. i've only had mine for three days but at 5'2" and 115 pounds i can do butter three's and stuff really easily. they swing weight isn't much worse than my punx in a 164. so far these are the best one ski quiver i've ever ridden. i had some 06-07 chronic blends in a 165 and they were a great one ski quiver. but not as good as the lizzies. i would say that at your height and weight you'll be about the biggest guy that would want to charge hard on them. the skis are soft. if you aren't smooth and have a lot of backseat landings or leaned out switch landings you're going to wish you had a stiffer ski. but i've hucked a couple 20 foot cliffs and launched about 40 or 50 feet down a diamond off a cattrack and they were surprisingly stable. but i did slip a tail once and end up backseat and they didn't offer much stability on a landing like that. but i was landing on super hardpacked snow. basically bluegroove lol. the 09 lizzies have a little early rise if i'm not mistaken. i bought these used so it could just be the camber being ridden out of the ski. but they are awesome. i even bought a set of 10's so i have a set to mount up after i kill my 09's.
if the blends are similar to the 06-07 blends you'll be looking at a medium stiff ski with great edge hookup. they are super versatile and absolutely kill it. they aren't as versatile as the lizzies but they are fun. they are a little heavy. i had trouble with 5's on them. just cuz i'm not very big. and back in 07 i was all of 4'11" and 90 pounds. lol. but they were fun. they didn't do well in pow (not that wide and mounted up true center) but they got by better than my 169 fugatives. they were a fun ski and better for charging through crud and choppy crap and held up better to straighlining moguled out diamonds and and speed in general. i could FLY on those things. they were super stable at speed. but they were pretty stiff for me and pretty unforgiving. but keep in mind those were the 06-07 blends. someone can chime in on the new models but i think that they are pretty similar. my friend who is 6' and 225 pounds loves his blends from this year. he says they are a little soft. but at his size and with the way he skis anything short of a gs ski is going to be "a little soft" but he said they are considerably stiffer than the lizzies and he prefers them for everything except for powder.
