i usualy ride with friends, so its kinda interuping while listing to music and talk...
But i ride with music too, then it mostly flow song like Rap and reagge also a big fan of Metall. Just put on the best songs you know a ride 'with' it. Chillin Pow'N'park with reagge N rap...ahhh...^^

Mostly reggae but this season I've been rocking a lot of jungle and anarcho punk. As much as I love hiphop it doesn't do it for me when I ski IDK why. Except mellow albums like Tribe or Dutchmassive.

if you like rap and really chill beats that help you get a rhythm there are two groups I ride to and absolutely love.

Atmosphere: you may have heard of him, but his music is real underground rap, flowy, chill style. absolutely love it when I ride.

Pretty Lights: sick electronic mixes, some to songs you may know, really awesome. long songs so it helps take up playlist time and just great riding music IMO.

underground isn't a style in my eyes, just a status of recognition. slug has a good style no doubt, but i wouldnt consider him in any way underground. And I later realized the sarcasm in the above post essentially pointing out the same thing i was.

pretty lights is awesome, as well as Justice and The Glitch Mob, ratatat, wolfgang gartner, and kaskade (and Deadmau5 of course). Also, I like funk such as Get off by Foxy, and kool and the gang, and le freak by chic. Mecha Love by Hadouken! is good for hardcore shredding. Also, just watch a lot of ski movies or go on skimoviemusic.com and you will find some good stuff. Classic rock is always good.
Just find some music to fit what you are skiing, I like faster/heavier songs (look at TGR big mountain segments) for the steeps and chill songs for the park/powder riding. Hopefully that helped.

i like to listen to the songs that are in movies. i always go to www.skimoviemusic.com and it has pretty much every ski movie and the soundtracks to them. almost every song there can be bought from itunes strait from that site i beleive

You can't be serious. I really don't think an artist that has had constant rotation at any time on MTV can be considered underground... Heck even what some would call underground today like arsonists, Aesop, atmosphere, common market, aren't really underground anymore. I might call those guys non-mainstream.... Heck, if it is on iTunes, underground might be a reach...
