hey guys im looking for a ski that is fun to rip on all mountain and in the park. i live in utah, so i go to snowbird during the day, and then brighton at night for any park that i might want to do. i have hellbents right now and they are pretty rad, but i was looking for something else for those shittier days, or days in the park. i am 6'4", 165 pounds, have some head mojo 15 bindings to put on whatever i get, and i like to do jumps, and do rails some too. i also like a ski that can handle crud, and maybe a small amount of pow (although i use hellbents for almost all situations right now anyways). would the chronics be a good choice? i was looking at the 183s. i appreciate any help +karma
i had a pair of chronics for a season, really liked them on jumps, fine for rails, not so great in the pow, good fun on groomers, however then at the beginning of the season after (last year) i snapped one on a pathetic little fall on a rail, about a foot down from the tip, so the front was sticking up at like a 40degree angle. obviously thats pretty rare. but apart from that, good at a bit of everything but not amazing.
