Replying to I have a problem

ok, so last december i broke my tibia and had to get surgery. so this season ive been skiing and i have no problems while im on the hill. but after i get home and take my boots off, my shin is very sore and hurts to the touch. i only have this problem on my left leg where i got surgery. ive talked to my dad who's a doctor and skis and he doesnt know. can anyone help me? btw its not the bone, but the tissue. it feels like a big bruise on my shin. thanks + k for help
