I have a problem

ok, so last december i broke my tibia and had to get surgery. so this season ive been skiing and i have no problems while im on the hill. but after i get home and take my boots off, my shin is very sore and hurts to the touch. i only have this problem on my left leg where i got surgery. ive talked to my dad who's a doctor and skis and he doesnt know. can anyone help me? btw its not the bone, but the tissue. it feels like a big bruise on my shin. thanks + k for help

Sounds like a case of shin bang.  Because you broke your tibia, the tissue may be more vulnerable.

I don't know, that just what seems right too me.  And you should be asking NS if your dad is a Doctor and does not know.

So you've consulted your father, who's a doctor, and he's told you that he thinks it will pass. You weren't satisfied with your fathers, the doctor's, advice, so now you've come on NS in hope's of getting better advice from an assortment of 14 year olds, grumpy old men (that would be me), and haters.
