Good bindings for people who injure there knees alot
There's no bindings that I know of that magically prevent knee injuries. Try turning down your din so that the bindings release earlier and you don't twist your knee as much.

If your dins are too low you're just gonna eat shit when they fall off. You are best off just using good bindings at a good din and hoping for the best. Your'e not gonna reverse a knee injury with some magic bindings. FKS are pretty undisputed as the best releasing bindings that wont release unless you need them to.
If you are at your correct DIN than you should be fine. Also look for a toe with vertical release. Other than that the only binding actually proven to reduce knee injuries is the KNEE binding. Which I have only seen once and they look built for weekend warriors and grandparents. Never seen anyone skiing on them.
so much false information in this thread... you people have no idea what his DIN was set at nor what it should be set at, nor what caused his injury. How can you possibly begin to recommend what to do or not do with his DIN setting?
The only way you can be sure your binding is set correctly is go to a shop and have it properly release tested based your information (height, weight, age, skier type, boot sole length). That is the only way you'll know your binding is releasing the way it should. If you change your DIN setting after that, it's your own deal.
Knee Binding out of Stowe Vermont is the only binding actually proven to reduce the risk of tearing your ACL. But it is mostly plastic and probably not something this community will embrace because of it.
Most of the bindings everyone loves use a toe piece that is 20 years old (or getting close to it)- Driver, FKS post mount. And the turntable heel design is even older- the Marker MRR is almost as old I am.
But I totally hear you, KNEE has a long way to go before this community stands behind it.
