Qdoba vs. Chipotle

Why do you like one over the other?

For me...I like Qdoba. Chicken Queso chicken burrito w/ rice. red or green salsa. some cheese. black beans

and its perfect


Now Chipotle...they lack the queso sauce, and I need your help.......how can I make the most kick ass Chipotle burrito? The last one I had it was okay, but it was not QDOBA GOOD.

Any ideas or burrito suggestions?

I think Chipotle has better, fresher overall ingredients, but Qdoba's queso sauce is godly, so I think I have to choose Qdoba on this one.

Queso burrito with chicken
black beans
extra queso sauce
pico de gallo and hot for salsa
lettuce
cheese
sour cream
guacamole

=SEX

Chipotle always wins. at chipotle do a barbacoa burrito, black beans, verde salsa, sour cream and EXTRA cheese. the extra cheese and sour cream combine with barbacoa juice to make a delicious queso-like sauce.

if qdoba is the only option, do pork naked nachos. sometimes not on the menu, but they will make them. they just give you the chips on the side for dipping, and you get like 3 times more food than their regular nachos. and its the same price!

SLC has a ton of chipotles but no qdoba

and i was hoping to make an even better burrito this time at chipotle. qdoba is local here in michigan

if you pay for your own food and value your hard earned cash, without a doubt you have to go with chipotle, the only time i go to qdoba is when i have a buy one get one free coupon and am going with a friend

They are pretty much the same restaurant but I think Qdoba has better sauces and you can put chips in your burrito. Baha Fresh is better than both.

Chipotle. We don't have qdoba here, and I tried it out when I went to Boulder and wasn't really impressed. Yes, it was good, but not as good as Chipotle.

Either place, right before they wrap up your burrito, ask them to stir it up and spread those ingredients evenly. Sex in da mouf.

We had a Qdoba and Chipotle next door to each other for half a year. The only reason Qdoba survived is because it delivered and was open late night when all the drunk college kids would go out.

Chipotle has higher quality ingredients (especially rice). The only thing I enjoy more at Qdoba is the portions. They really put a shit ton on your burrito. Thats probably how they get some people to come back instead of going next door.

I also won a Halo 3 tournament at Qdoba and won a bunch of free meals and tshirts and stuff.

Chipotle will always be better.

or, if you're from CO, support the best of the three colorado build-your-burrito chains. Illegal Petes (except the one on the hill in boulder, that one blows). completely slays chipotle and qdoba. both chipotle and qdoba over the past 4 years or so have started tasting super bland as they have homogenized their ingredients to taste the same everywhere you go. plus neither mixes the burritos unless you ask, and thats just pure amateur hour. nobody wants a fucking mouthful of sour cream, and I'll be damned if I have to ask and have the little mexican lady roll her eyes at me as she mixes the ingredients.

Chipotle.

Then tell them you want a quesodilla. They put it in so the tortilla gets nice and crispy and the cheese melts. Then have then pull it apart, and proceed with your normal burrito process from here. It is amazing.

i will be in slc in like a week. but in the mean time. i am aggressively revamping my efforts to get in the know on the whats up in SLC.

every 2 weeks before i have a trip to SLC I do this........don't worry. You will see this same fuckin shit in 2 months from me.

no theres only one chipotle in slc.

but the best burrito is half barbacoa, half steak or carnitas, black beans, rice, hot and corn salsa, extra cheese, and fork over the extra cash for the guacamole.

the only time i go to chipotle in slc is because i'm too lazy to drive all the way to molca or lonestar

i started getting the mild and hot salsas at chipotle though and it certainly made my burrito there delightful.

Chipotle for sure. The ingredients are of wonderful quality, and come from an honest source. Also, most of the stores consist of a lot of recycled material. Also their guac is undeniable

My usual burrito consists of the following:
-Chicken or carnitas
-Rice
-Pinto beans
-Pico de gallo
-corn
-cheese

On the side:
-Sourcream and pico de gallo that i mix together for the perfect dipping sauce

I've only been to Qdoba once so i don't think i can judge for sure, but my sister loves chipotle so we go there often.

I get:
Chicken burrito
black beans
mild salsa
sour cream
extra cheese
lettuce

guac and chips on the side

Sometime if i'm not feeling the tortilla i'll get a burrito bowl with the same stuff, but i put some guac on the fork before each bite and it's nut-tastic.
