I've spent several hours on this and can't find what I need.
Are there any automatic hourly snow telemetry sites on the east coast? I've found lots of sites which have 1 or 2 time a day volunteer observations. I want to find ones which provide hourly automatic snow depth readings which have the results available on the internet.
For example in the West we have SNOTEL, NWAC, and some NOAA snow sites support this.
Here is an example link for Mammoth as to what it looks like (see the observed column): http://www.nohrsc.noaa.gov/interactive/html/graph.html?station=MTH05_MADIS&w=600&h=400&uc=0&by=2010&bm=12&bd=01&bh=0&ey=2010&em=12&ed=1&eh=24&data=1&units=0&x=0&y=0
These are way more accurate for predicting conditions than ski area reports. Just want to see if any exist on the east coast.
thanks
Scott
