Pray For This 15-Year-Old Girl

This really touch my heart and I feel bad what this girl is going through every day of her life. Here the Description:
"I got this idea from another video , and it inspired me. I don’t write blogs and make videos for attention. I do it to let it out. I hate bottling up things inside of me. And i also think its a great way to let everyone know how serious and heart braking this disease is. For the people that all think this a joke. go to hell. you have no idea how strong and painful this is for me and my family. there is no cure. I didn’t ask for this to happen to me and my family. No one wants this . NO ONE. To just sit there and watch your mom die on the inside is nothing to laugh at or make fun of. My brother and i are alone. No one understands us. we wish we both knew other people our age that we can talk to about this, but there’s no one. All we can do is pray for a cure . www.alz.org. " - Brittany

Yes, prayer. That will cure the Alzheimer's. If you really want to help, tell people to donate to scientific research and advocate government funding for stem cell therapy or something. Not fucking hope really hard that it all works out.

why was this a post, i understand it sucks to have someone with alzheimer's in you family, my grandfather did and couldn't remember the name of his own wife after a few years. yes its something that should be researched and we should work to find a cure, but do you know this girl, what makes her special versus the other thousands of people in the world who have to help their parents/grandparents with this disease. I feel like you felt for her more because she was a cute white girl. What about the old people who have not only spouses but friends with alzheimer's and dementia who they lose left and right because they are turning into vegetables. I agree her story is sad and i feel bad for her, but what makes her special compared to all other people who have to deal with this.

exactly.    

thinking that praying will help something means that god is able to hear and do something about your prayer. If god could answer prayers, why would he allow for people to have problems like this in the first place?

Uh oh, I feel a religious debate about prayer coming on.  I feel really bad for that girl seeing that her Mom is probably in her 40s and I thought alzheimers came on when you're much older.  This reminds is to cherish what we have because we never know when a day will come and we will have lost what is dear to us.

This. How the fuck do people actually think God is going to help this girl? He doesn't do anything, and then when someone actually gets cured because of SCIENCE, the religiousfags are like "GOD SAVED MY MOM!" However, if God had his way there would be no science, and people would go back to having life spans of 50 years.

it does suck. my great uncle had it two years ago,(our familys were pretty close) and then he passed last year. shit sucks. seeing him in the hospital and saying good bye was one of the worst experiences in my life because he just stared confused at me.

i think its funny how people automatically go straight to hating on religion when someone says something like this.. Its actually kind of pathetic how people are so insecure that they have to hate on something that gives so many people hope.. I understand religion isnt for everyone but that doesnt mean that you have to go out of your way to insult it, especially when it does do good things for many people

Damn dude that sucks. I feel for you. I'm having something extremely similar happening to me and my family right now with my Grandma. Shit sucks. My Uncle died last year, so her son, and we had to tell her multiple times that he passed. It was fucking terrible.
