For some reason, I really liked Eyetrip's big mtn/pow segments a lot. Pretty much all the guys in those parts stratigh up killed it. Wiley, Josh, Duncan, Delorme, Rainvill, All of them just put on an amazing performance of skiing.
Revolvers was good, too. Charley ager with his mindblowing skiing abilities, Tudor slaying some insane AK lines, Pep slaying as usual, JP Auclair taming insane alaskan lines, And a few others I can't think of right now had fucking great shots as far as big mtn/pow wise is.
Light The Wick I hear has some fucking crazy big mtn shots all thanks to some key slayers like sage, townsend, lange and others. Some insane shots from what I hear.
Pretty much those are the only 2 movies I would reccomend for some sick big mtn shots. You could check out Out Of The Shadows from Dendrite Studios. The trailer is super sick and I am guessing so is the movie.
Forgot about that one too haha. By far one of the best ski movies I have ever seen. Definitely some of the best skiing ever recorded on camera in that movie.
favorite segments have to be delrome in 'eye trip' and both of sammy carlson's segments in 'revolver' and 'light the wick'
I hear some people saying they liked 'the way i see it' but I thought it was shit. Thought the soundtrack was crap, bobby browns triple flip is the only thing i remember.
Stepts film 'Network' was pretty good if you're looking for urban slaying.
If you're looking for just big mountain and back country I'd go 'light the wick'. no rails, just a big steven pass booter is the only park related stuff with sammy, byron wells and spriggs throwing down.
I thought 'relover' was a good all round movie but a bit too long, I actually got bored watching it after awhile.
Since other people are repping it which is rad to see, I'll remind everyone that "Out of the Shadows" is available for a "pay what you want" rate. Every skier on the planet should own it, whether you are a big mountain ripper or a park skier.
