Best headmount?

which headmount works the best? the sticky or the headstrap? i use the headstrap but it weighs down my helmet in the front and gets really annoying, so i want to try using a sticky one but i cant decide where the best spot on my helmet is, right on top? or more near the front? also, has anyone had any problems with them falling off?

Well maybe it is just me... but I got my gopro literally 3 days ago. So I'm stoked, I have the adhesive mounts so first one I put on and really push it on. I try to take it off and it doesn't come off so I said great this should stay on.

Next day were out it's a -10 Celsius so not to cold for my mountain. Go to put the camera on the mount and bam it falls off.

Alright maybe it's a bad one. So this time I clean off the spot it's going, take off the paper from the adhesive this is brand new. Put it on and I'm like now this one will stay on. Doing some jumps with it on. Take a fall and I feel the camera fall off my head! It did the mount came off my helmet again.

So now I thought I would get the head strap so I know it is staying on cause 2 mount in 2 days? Like come on. So how is the head strap?

Mine keep falling off too!!! Is there a way to get it to stick to your helmet better?

I was just like fuck it and epoxied it right on. That bitch isn't coming off for along time.

You have to clean off your helmet before you put the mount on. I also waited a little bit before using it. Put the sticky mount on somewhere warm. Let is sit for a while. If its not completely (or almost completely) touching the surface of the helmet, its going to fall off. Hell, I even smacked my head hard on the ground when I tore my ACL last season, the GoPro went flying, the mount stayed on.
