Second part- I said that faith and afterlife were part of the business model of organized institutions, not individuals. I think the argument that, when you look closely, most churches resemble businesses is fairly easy to accept, so I'm not sure that this is that controversial because undoubtedly the "truths" they preach are what the Church is based upon. So, call it cynical, but even religious fanatics can accept this when they look at it objectively. Their qualms are merely with the suggestion that their way may not be the only way. Accepting these ideas as truths, however, is not a business plan at the individual level as ones moral code is in no way a business plan.
As for your last sentence, my position is unchanged and stated in previous posts. We just disagree, but try to see it my way and I'll do my best to see it yours.
