This company has been bothering me very much in the past and I figured I'd see what others opinions are as well. This is not a trolling thread of any sort, I want to voice opinions as everyone does about other companies.
The progression of this underground company has been developing rapidly and been gaining popularity regularly. Wiggin., aka Dan Asam, a college student at UVM, began spray painting and painting tshirts in the basement of his dorm. Now I go to any mountain on the east coast, and I'll see a few odd people wearing these shirts, more than them wearing stickers that have no idea what the company even is. When he releases shirts, they literally sell out within 30 minutes to every little kid and their brother, using their parents credit card money on these overprice shirts, printed on bootleg tshirts and poor screen printing, just because they want to fit in. When he releases the shirts, he takes pictures on his camera phone for the internet web sales, where he sells 50+ shirts at a time, which no money ever goes to taxes, as it should, and he doesnt have any license to be selling like this.
I myself have a few, although I never have paid for one due to their terrible quality of the shirt and printing, which i use to wash my car, they're made in pakistan and he buys for $2 not even wholesale. He goes to events and hands out stickers to everyone, and no one knows who he is or what it is. I go to classes in school and tons of people in classes have stickers on their phones, and i ask if they know what it is and they have no idea. He also will go and put stickers on random vehicles, buildings windows, etc with no respect to the owners, or care for the peoples jobs at school to clean them off buildings.
In the end, I disrespect this company greatly, as it is basically a kid that is taking advantage of little kids and their obsession to hop the bandwagon of any skiing company, by creating terribly made tshirts at ridiculous prices illegaly.
Anyone elses opinions?
