You can heat up a bowl of water and then stick your grips inside the water to soften the glue then twist and pull. It helps to have to people one holding onto the pole the other twisting and pulling.
If you still can't get it off you can have someone hold the pole tip up while you take a hammer and hit the grip off and down, trust me it will come off then just dont hit it so hard it cracks your grip.
^ That was all poles in general Ive never taken the grips on line pins.

Dunno if there's a particular trick for Pins. The one I was taught for poles in general is to close a door on the pole just below the grip then pull on the baskets.

Line poles require a special tool to get the grip off them. If you look at the bottom of the grip you'll see I believe 3 screws that have a triangle pattern instead of a normal screw pattern. So, unless you happen to have the proper tool you'll need to find it (it's some sort of screwdriver...I haven't found it yet).

for any normal rubber grips you just clamp the pole in a vise and pull. line may be different though

They're hidden under the rubber on the darts if I'm not mistaken, I haven't looked too hard for them, but I k ow you can't just yank them off like normal poles.

For my darts I just heated the grips up with a hair dryer and pulled em off, but some contact cement on the next pole and inside the grip and they have been working perfect.

Just boil them. I did it in about 5 min. Just get a huge poy of water and make sure the grips fit into the water and twist every few min

Boiling water to get the grip off the pole, cut them and use a hair dryer to re-heat the glue, worked fine for me
