Question about my Camera (JVC)

Ok so i have a Jvc hd 7 camera and it is an hdd. It is such a pain in the ass when you import video, because every time you press record and then stop recording that is one little clip. So having to go through a ton of clips from one day of skiing is a pain. So my question does anyone know if i can set it to where when i import it, its one continuous clip like it is on mini dv tape recorders?

first off, it is not one continuous clip when you record onto miniDV. and to answer your question, i am 99.9% sure you cannot set the camera so that its "one continuous clip" when you are capturing footage. sorry.

i realize that it is not one continuous clip on minidv, but when you put it on the computer its one big file, not each individual shot.
