They day after watching it about 15 times my brother and I decided we were going to take the snowblower out on the lake a build a kicker to tow into. So we spent the day with the blower and shovels building my first real jump. My mind was blown, it had a landing.....to land on. This was a totally new concept to me, I had just spent the last 10 years hitting 4 foot jumps to flatland. So when it's all said and done, I'm looking at about a 20 foot gap with a lip about 14 feet high. Being a professional at this type of thing, we decide that it's time for me to hit it and that to clear the gap I would need to be going about.................45mph.
Also, being a professional at this type of thing, I decided I would try a lawn dart from the get go.
Keep in mind, I had never even done a front flip on a trampoline at this point.
So here I am, towing into the biggest jump I've ever seen, going about 20 MPH too fast, about to try to front flip this thing........................
If you can imagine overshooting face first onto solid ice, you can get a good idea of what happened.
So I broke my wrist and my collarbone, but what I remember being most sad about was that I took a chunk of the laminate out on my K2 Fours. THE LED'S NEVER WORKED AGAIN.
