Salomon Suspects vs. Armada AR7

im looking for more of a park ski then the lizzies i have now. im debating between the 2011 Suspects and the new AR7s. What do you guys think?

ya i pretty much had my mind set on armadas before i just saw the suspects at the shop for cheaper so i figured id get informed about how shitty they are haha

Because they are sponsered by Salomon, and they are actually a very good riding ski. Its just that most of them fall apart pretty quickly.

i have been lookin at both these skis, and i heard that the ar7's are not forgiving at all, is that true? and then my other question is, if i got the suspects from backcountry, how broke do they have to be for them to replace them? like alot of edge missing, or do they have to be snaped in half?

the suspects are getting a whole lot of hate and i cant speak for the durability cause this is my first season on them but as a ski they're awsome.

The pros ski them because they get payed to and they may be a nice ski but they break. SO when the pros break them they get brand new ones and dont give a fuck. If you get suspects and break them... well im pretty sure none of us here get them for free whenever we want let alone get payed to ski them.

Suspects are a very good ski, they just are not made to be durable. if pros ride them and break them which they do they get free new ones. i have had my for one winter and the edges are about to blow cuz of rail dents. ill prolly get them again cuz i love riding them
