This was a responsive post to the hahaha biatched thread...

I don't want skiing to be a purely racing oriented sport, that's what happened in the sixties/seventies, and that's why snowboarding started and that's why skiing nearly died in the eighties, and that's why we are struggling to establish ourselves as a legitimate sport again. On the other end of the spectrum, I don't want skiing to become a completely park oriented sport.


However, lets get one thing straight here...this site isn't called racers.com or spandex.com -- its called newschoolers.com and its meant for the new generation of skiers and skiing set to revitalize skiing. so if ur not here because u do that then why are you here? because they dont have a racers.com?

I live in Dirty Jersey. I curse... a lot. I say -yo- and I say it often. I sure as hell dont pump my own gas. I know a bagel is much more than a fuckin roll with a hole in the middle. I judge people by what exit they live off the parkway. I can navigate a circle... with attitude. Two words-- mother fucker. I dont go to the beach, I go down the shore. I know that 65 mph really means 80. When someone cuts me off, they get the finger... and they expect it. I ride ice and i dont mind, 6 inches of snow is heaven for me. Im a Jersey Kid..
