Fair enough. Maybe I didn't notice them because I was one, haha. I just felt so unwelcome every time I rode up the tram at the Sky. I went there once my last year of college, after having not been there for about 5 years … and man it had changed a lot. But you're right, they are everywhere. I fear I'm kind of becoming "that guy" at my new mountain. But I ride with guys that have been here for years, so it's cool right?
I realize it was a very bitter post. And to the guy about not moving after high school. I agree. I had a lot of very close friends from high school though, that stayed in town and went to MSU. So like I said, I miss my having all my friends together. I did branch out. Lived in MN for a year and a few summers. Maybe seeing what else the world had to offer made more eager to get out. But hey life is good, and living in Bozeman was part of my path to where I am now, so I can't be too resentful.
To the OP, if you go to Bozeman, make the most out of the outdoorsy things. So few places have so many incredible outdoor things to do so closely. Ski all winter and float the rivers, play baseball and MTB in the summers. You'll keep yourself busy enough to not notice the lack of chicks … haha.
