Replying to Melo dismisses trade rumor.

This is good news for me, being that I am a Nuggets fan. I would hate to see Melo leave. He honestly is fun to watch play and puts points on the board.

DENVER - Denver Nuggets star Carmelo Anthony is shooting down rumors he's heading to New Jersey in a three-team deal.

"I haven't heard that one," Anthony told reporters after scoring 35 points to lead the Nuggets over the Orlando Magic 111-94 Tuesday night at Pepsi Center.

Reporters told Anthony about the reports that he was being traded to the New Jersey Nets.

"Am I? I don't know, dog. This is new, I haven't heard that," Anthony said.

On Monday, Anthony rejected an ESPN report that he had told the Nuggets he'd only accept a trade to the New York Knicks. The Nuggets forward poured in 20 first half points before a cheering home crowd Tuesday.

Still, after the game, reporters wanted Anthony on record about the rumored Nets deal.

"[I am] officially saying I don't know nothing about it," Anthony reiterated.
