Not a single one in the top 50 from michigan? I guess they don't realize that 90% of college students here don't have any thing better to do than abuse drugs.

I'm not surprised UMaine is #4, there isn't much else to do up here. Although I thought it was awesome that Vermont has the highest percentage of 18-25s statewide using marijuana regularly: 44.24%.

Penn State #27

as far as i can tell, #1 with drug related arrests though.

6 people on my floor have been arrested on drug charges, and 40% of the kids on my floor have gotten underage drinking citations. thats 24 of the 60 on my floor. 8 at once haha

It was UVM(then Boulder, then Bryant). But the stat they gave was percentage of 18-25s statewide using regularly, which isn't necessarily university students but rather the state of as a whole.

i highly doubt this is an ordered list. it just shows the top 50. just look at the grade that each school is given and go by that.

I gotta say that list is kind of bull. I went to both CU and Yale for undergrad and let me just say that while there are more arrests per capita at CU, they are mostly for things like weed. Kids at Yale did tons of harder shit like coke all the time but were better at not doing it in front of cops so I wouldn't say that Yale has less of a drug problem.

I agree. I think that it is off, or just based purely on arrests. I went to UMaine Farmington last year and there was a way bigger drug scene there, and it was a lot easier to get involved in compared to here (UNH)

the criteria for determining the "druggiest" schools is flawed. how does statewide drug users have anything to do with the relatively small population of a student body, which consists of many out of state students. i go to unh and it is not a "druggy" (what a gay word) school. its not even stereotypically known for drugs, unlike uvm, which i forgot if it was on the list or not.

It really all depends what you consider druggie. A school where everyone smokes weed from time to time is not as druggie as a school where a 15 percent of the kids are addicted to opiates. That's just my opinion.

i feel like ithaca college at 29 is too high as well...being a private, super liberal school and having campus police  should have scored lower. i can honestly say at least 60 percent of the kids smoke there or abuse some kind of substance, and thats conservative estimate. i have never been arresred when caught smoking weed, simply probation and a slap on the wrist from an rd (if you live on campus), another buddy pulled over ( by a campus po) with a friends car, no license, baggies weighed out, a scale, a pipe, and money...what did he get? wasnt kicked off the lax team, didnt get expelled, or suspended, just put on probation and had to write an essay and probation means you can go abroad essentially, but we were freshman and didnt want to go abroad til our junior years....gotta love liberal colleges

you guys realize that this is based on the amount of people who got caught... i personally know that columbia and yale should be up top on that list, the number of hard drugs that pass through those schools is insane. also, OU should be wayyyyy up there.


if you want your school to get ranked higher go smoke crack in front of the registrars office!

This is good advice. I try to do this everyday to keep Boulder at #6, I mean, it I'm just doing my part to make sure everyone knows how cool we are for being druggies.

it seems like they take the arrests and maybe use that figure to how people go to those school.

i go to UNH and its number one i think is becaseu the unh cops arrest everything that moves
