i need new skis and have the money for two pairs and think that would be sick to have an all mt and a park ski. but it would also be a royal pain in the ass to carry 2 pairs of skis around.
any comments?

i know everyone is all about the MSPs and i think its a load of crap.
i mean the its not the best for park because they are wide and heavy. they are also too skiiny to be a crud busting and and super fast pow ski.
so don't tell me the MSP is the best ski for both because it not.

having 2 pairs of skis is great, however i still find myself using my pistols more often that my old 1080s. i only use them for park and rails.

i say get like sum AK madens and then a pair of fujatives just bring the aks when there is pow or when u wanna ski big mtn then days u want park ski the other pair

one pair to beat up on rails
one pair for everything else
the bad part is, rail ski cant ski all mtncause they are too soft and the edges are rounded. the all mtn skis, i do not want to ruin them on rails

where the hell are you guys lugging your skis around. Why dont you just decide at home which skis you want for that day and ski them....i dont see why you would need to bring 2 pairs of skis EVERYWHERE you go.

^ Exactly. I usually look out the window in the morning, if its a pow day or was the day before, I bring the Bandits. If it hasn't snowed in a week, I'll ride park and break out the Tweaks. It's all personal preference. I like something stiffer than my Tweaks for all-mountain, so I'll bring the Bandits to rip whatever I want on a given day.

I have 3, but the mtn is next to my house and i have a locker, so i leave my park/all mtns in the locker, and ill bring my powder skis back and forths, then i only need the rock/rail skis usually early season or night for urban shit so they r usually at home

my park has the tendency to completely suck a lot of days but other days it good. so you never know what youre gonna ride. we end up riding all mountain/backcountry on not so good days

i know the troublemakers handle real good in park, pipe, powder, but arent really good for cranking at top speeds
if you like speed, get just a pair of race skis, thats what i have, when i feel need to go fast, i rip them out

msp's are not too wide for park, a wider ski gives you a more stable and solid landing, and they are not really heavy at all either, no heavier then PE's or TM's. and 92 waist is definately big enough for powder. people used to ski 70mm wide straight skis in powder, so i dont think 92mm would be a problem

well i busted some steez with my home boyz t-dizzle and C.R hommee. we shredded the mountain like it was da atomic bomb dawg. then we whent shredding in the backcoiuntry. tanner was scared and pooped in his pants. so i wacked him in the head with some line skis i found and then i burned them in a pit of doom. then pep dawg came and jumped off a cliff. and unluckily for him he pooped. then c.r tried to save him becasue he is gay but he pooped to. but then sane came and got down saftely. but pooped becasuse of the fire pit. then i jumped too only i did a cork 10000000000 1000 backflip 180 and stomped it.

i usually go something like this:
park only - mike nicks
big mtn/park - publics
big mtn/pow only - ARVs
the lift shack guys are usually pretty cool about me leaving a thing or 2 in there for the day - backpack, skis, etc. so i don't have to worry about lugging stuff around.

i have two pairs now, but im sure ill have 3 next year. it really isnt a pain to carry them around ride what you want and if you change your mind go back to the car and grab another pair.
