BVT double set SUCKS. There was a replica at Mount Seymour last year and it was wack. The closeout was decent, it's just a flat bar to drop after all, but the dfd is so wack, so short and steep. They shoulda thrown the red ledge replica in, that thing was fun.
Yeah... Everyone is talking about just disastering the dfd. We all went up to it right at the start of practice and it was pretty funny all the confused faces like... wtf do we do with THIS feature? And why the eff did the put this lip here? (Regarding the lip to the flat bar). It's just kind of odd.
Uhhh maybe you should enter the Dew Tour and come take a look-see for yourself braddah. I was there with every other competitor and pro on Earth today and no one was digging any of it.
I'm not here to argue. I'm just saying it's prob not the best idea to say that we all think a "super sick" feature is stupid. I guess maybe we all just suck at skiing eh?
All i saw was disasters and front flips over the whole damn thing, And i feel you cant take your time on the rails cuz you need speed for the jump. But thats just what I see from all of them hauling ass over that first hit.
shit, at least it's something different. even if it's all disasters and frontflips over the damn thing, still sick it's in a high stakes slope course.
can't they just ask the athletes what they want to see on the courses? maybe they already do and the boarders wanted it, but i feel like the stairset was intended as a more skier-oriented feature.
