Will he SPK fit my foot ? ++k for info

Hey ! Currently i am thinking about purchasing the Salomon SPK boot. I went to my local ski shop to try some boots on, the tilts are amazing and fit great but are very rare to find in my size 28.5/29. I am desperate for some boots and i feel like i am going to have to go with the salomon boot, the guy at the shop told me that the salomon and the tilts are completely different, the salomon boot is very wide, where as the tilt is narrow, i have quite a narrow foot, but i am just wondering how big the difference is between the two. Like will i find it very hard to use the SPK's or what ? ANY INFORMATION HELPS.

If you have a narrow foot, common sense would dictate that you dont get a wide boot.

I did get fitted, he said i got a narrow foot, so i should get the tilts, i just had no idea that the boots were so much different

Wont be a huge differance you should probally go with fulltilts cuz you foot would slide around alot in an spk. Tilts have a 90 last i believe and the last on the spk is like 98 r something like that

There is hell of a lot more to fitting a boot, than foot width.

I would get full tilts if they fit and are comfy initially then after they're heat molded they are going to be about as good as ski boots can be. I have a narrow foot as well and was sized for full tilts but I get deals on Salomon, so I got the shoguns which have a narrower fit.

Ive never seen so much wrong information in one post. Fulltilts are traditionally a 98mm last, while the spks are closer to 104. And it will make a large difference. That being said, you dont NEED fulltilts, even if they seem to fit you. Try on other similar boots and who knows, you may find one that fits you even better than the full tilts.

well if you tried on fulltilts at your shop in your size, so your shop obviously has them in your size.

I see no problem here.

If you're looking at a Salomon boot, look at the Falcon.  It's got a 98mm last as well.

I have a very skinny foot and use SPK's. I just got them fitted at my shop with foam on the outside of the insole to tighten them up. I like them a lot now. They are nice and tight around my ankles and my toes have wiggling room. I would love to try some full tilts but my shop didn't have that option. Bottom line they will work has long as you get them fitted properly.

I also have slim feet and riding some seth's (99mm) they fit like a glove, just perfect as if they were specially made for my feet.

I both tested the SPK Kreation and the Pro model and my feet were just wobbling around in it, felt bad man.
You def don't want a boot that feels unstable

If the FTs fits your foot you should get them and if they have no size in stock just tell them to order the right size for you.

Or you could get a boot that fits properly to begin with? All that foam, is just a bandaid. The real issue is that it does not fit correctly. The spk is one of the most poorly fitting boot on the market. All the hype is just marketing that kids are eating up.

Going to get these i think, they are only 120, but they have been used for 3 seasons molded twice is that a bad thing they look pretty good actually from the out side +++k for info :)

Pass on those. I spent 2 seasons on fulltilt boots. I got a pair of inferno 130's this year and i havent looked back. Best book i have owned ever.

New liners for those boots are going to cost more than the boots themselves. The prowrap liners that are in those are something like $180 retail.

i know i was young and gullable at the time I would have rather got some FT or other slimmer boot but o well made them work and I like them now now shin bang and my feet don't move around so i'm happy.
