I got hurt exactly 9 days ago and I'm just getting some range of motion back. I have no health insurance at the moment so going to get it checked out isnt really an option. I think I may have partially torn my rotator cuff and or tweaked one or more ligaments in there. June mountain opens thursday and I live right next to it, I know I can't ski but I'm really jonesin to get back on my skis. My moms is a doc so I have all the medical advice I need; however, I am curious to hear what others who have been in a similar situation have for advice.
Get an EVS sport shoulder brace...they hold everything in place pretty well, but don't expect it to stop any further injuries like dislocations. I busted my shoulder 2 yrs ago and it's still real messed up even after surgery, but my evs brace really helps when I'm biking and skiing. Shoulder injuries suck so much.
