I know this sounds like a stupid thread but I could use the help. I use a T Hall Mission Dakine packback for filming and stuff and I don't like having to hold my poles while i film. Unfortunately, there are no side straps for poles on the backpack only board straps. Any suggestions on how i could attach my ski poles to the board straps?
Couldn't you just put them on trough the board straps? if anything secure the straps through the top strap then just buckle over on the bottom. There is no way they could fall out.
The only thing I personally don't like about that is that the poles can bang the back of your legs if you move in a certain way. That's just me though. Unless of course you can securely strap them in so that they won't wiggle down or anything.
I might just be stupid though.
i agree. and i cant just tighten the straps because the backpack is not as full as it is in the picture so if you put the pole in you cannont tighten the straps tight enough to keep them in place.
He was saying put the backpack strap through the pole straps and then try to tighten the backpack straps the way you originally thought. Also have you tried putting the poles upside down through the hole in top so that the baskets and the forces between the backpack and your back keep them up?
Ok, this is really really REALLY simple... Turn the poles upside down. Put the bottom snowboard carry strap through the wrist straps on the ski poles. DONE... they won't hit your legs.
