Why is Bobby Brown's triple still getting way more hype than Sammy's?

Not hating on Bobby Brown at all, because he destroyed that jump in The Way I see it, but why is his triple wack flip 180 getting so much more attention than Sammy's switch triple rodeo? Is there something I missed?

Ya definitely Bobby is getting more hype in general, but from what I have seen of the triples is he is getting all the hoopla. Maybe I am misinformed, but a lot of articles are saying he is the future because of that (and I am sure other things too, but thats not how it is worded). I guess he was first, but people have been doing triple backs for a long time.

i agree. personally i thought bobby's and sammys trips looked dumb. tired of seeing wackflips so that didnt help the fact. i think a trip backy with a rediculous lay out on the second flip would have been cooooler!!!! i will say though the shot of russ doing the zero is one of the best shots in that movie.

im sick of snowboarding not shutting up about torsteins trip rodeo and calling it a triple cork..pretty sure bobby did it first not completely positive though. and russ needs to have a statue built after him because he trip 16 crash was sicker than all three triple FLIPS
