Replying to The Future of Skiing?

I don't exactly remember where i read this, but i saw that eventually you can "enjoy skiing inside". It's basically a really big treadmill that is inverted to act like a slope that you can ski on. Honestly i think that would take most (if not, all) of the fun out of skiing. Unless you just ski for the exercise, i could understand the use of that innovation. Anyways, what do you think the future of skiing will be like? in maybe 10 years? 25? etc...
