Beats solo hd or beats earbuds?

So I am just wondering if I should get the beats by dr dre solo's HD or the earbuds (ibeats or the tour) the for dr dre. I want them for Christmas because all my headphones break within the first 2 weeks to one month. I heard of the solo high performance breaking ( the head band) but i heard they don't break on the head band very easily (the solos hd).
Just let me know!!
Thanks guys!!

Not to be that guy but, those things are so over priced. Get like Sennheiser, Klipsch or Bose or something. You can do way better than Monster headphones with Dr. Dre's name on them for an extra hundred bucks.

This^^ It's a proven fact that Monster makes the same quality stuff as any other company. Anybody who buys monster hdmi cables is stupid.

spending more than $40 on headphones to ski with is stupid. i have never had a pair of headphones that i ski with last longer than 2 months. if you want to spend a bunch of money on good headphones for sound quality then drop an extra $20 on a pair of decent cheap earbuds to ski with, the wind and other external sounds are going to make that extra sound quality that you drop on expensive headphones is kind of pointless and theyre just going to break and youre hardly going to notice a difference because youre skiing.

same situation for me. none of my headphones last me for at least 4 months. i just buy cheap $15 icons every time or JVC buds from winners for $5.
just last week i bought 2 pairs of icons for $15 shipped. so legit

exactly. my last 4 or 5 pairs of headphones for skiing have been free from packs of double a batteries, or cheap headphones that have been on sale, and then i have a pair of sony mdr v500's for home listening purposes. dont break the bank on headphones for skiing that youre going to break in a matter of weeks.

He never mentioned anything about skiing with his headphones. I think he just wants a pair for home listening.

I also agree that you can do so much better than beats. Look at, as suggested, sennheiser. I have a pair of HD555s and they are the best headphones i have ever owned. Was a xmas present and only ever been used for music at home or travelling, definately not to be used on the mountain but you cant do much better. And also, by taking out some foam padding (have to unscrew some screws to get at it) you can turn then into the 595s which are $100 more.
