GoPros on t.v.

I don't know if any of you are familiar with the show Mythbusters based out of the bay area. Pretty much they just see if myths are true or can actually happen n shit. But I'm watching one episode now where they're smashing a car n i look on the side window and there is just a GoPro attached with a sticky mount to the side of the window. I find it pretty cool how they are being used for real high quality t.v. show footage. What do you think?

Yeah I noticed that they use them a few days ago. They used it on that Tornado episode. I thought it was pretty cool that they use them.

They sent one down the elevator that got the miners in chile out. The footage is on CNN. I know they used one during a famous footwear ad shoot, but didn't use footage from it, rather used it on a motion controll rig to show "the cameras perspective." They used it on another news channel for hors jockey pov, and they've been sent to space a couple times by hobbyists.

Not really just for skiing I guess. A lot of sports use them now. You'd be suprised about virtually how many things you can use a gopro for.

They are everywhere on tv. MTV uses them alot for like those stupid challenge shows. I think its like called cutthroat right now. GoPros are everywhere

Built to shred on Fuel TV uses GoPros sometimes. that show blows my mind. last episode they built a miniramp that was suspended 20 feet of the ground by trees. I had a plexiglass panel and camo netting and a fence around it. The dopness levels were through the roof.

They got the option where it can be recording but not look like it is... like the lcd screen is off and the red led light doesnt blink... Can't lie, it has crossed my mind. haha.
