Hello, i am thinking about purchasing these ski's i will be spending most of my time in the park, but i will be doing some riding, through groomed small hill's, just wondering if this is a good ski for me ?

Im 6'1 6'1/2, im about 150, im going to order the 173 which is perfect length, and im from london ontario, my home mountain is very small, it does have a nice park, and a couple good hills, but i do travel up to blue mountain a lot too +++k for good info man :)

one of my good friends was sponsored by core upt last year and he exploded (yes EXPLODED) two pairs of tjs and a pair of colbys. that was all on his dew tour/wsi trip which i think only lasted like two and a bit months

I love mine (09/10 model). They are super light and durable. Mine have very little topsheet chipping after many jibs and the bases are still in excellent shape. Poppy ski as well. But I'd recommend the 183 (that's what I have and I'm 5'9" 160lbs). They have massive early rise so they measure out and ski pretty short.

you seem like youre not a huge guy for your height, so if I were you I might consider a different ski like the colbys or candides.  the tjs are made for big guys like tj, whereas the colbys and candides are made for guys like colby and candide, both of whom are not huge.  by all means if you like a stiff ski, go for the tjs, but I'd probably reccomend a longer length like something around 180.  coreupt makes a great ski in my opinion, so you win either way

I got my 09/10s..there hood as hell the top sheet scratches easy but there nice ..stiff underfoot and really springy...there dope just wish the top sheat was more durable.

I'm looking at getting a pair of coreupts for this season, but i was looking at getting the colby or the caspers cause i was told that there stiffer than the tj's. Does anyone know for sure wich ski is the stiffest out of the 3?

my tj's are pretty stiff they have tons of pop tho and can go deep on the bigger jumps. its the same constructioned ski that tj used to do the dub 1620

no. 170 isnt the eprfect length for you. center mounted symmetrical twin tip skis are skid longer than piste skis.
they sould be about as tall as you are. you lose alot of length through the tail rise which makes them ski alot shorter. thats why you would want a longer ski.

I'm looking into coreupt as well but i don't know whether to choose from the candides or the tj schiller. I want a good park ski thats stable on big jumps but still buttery. i'm 5'11" 140lbs

so, sparknotes, i have the 183 TJ pros

183cm is the chord length ( length measured over the topsheet from tip to tail)
180cm is the length measured in a straight line from tip to tail
and, quite amazing, the actual running length, this is the actual contact a ski makes with the snow on hardpack, is only 147cm ! this is mainly due to the huge tips and tails that are on these planks,

so in the end the running length on the 183TJ ended up being shorter than my 173cm mvmt joysticks...



so, definately go for 183 in size!

also a nice fact, the ski has tons of camber and very much pop, its quite stiff and altough i haven't yet tried it on a long run, but only indoor, i feel like this ski is very stable and can definately go fast and hard...

it has 2cm camber if you put them base to base, so that's almost bow like....
my fischer slalom skis don't even have that much camber left in them :)
