so, sparknotes, i have the 183 TJ pros
183cm is the chord length ( length measured over the topsheet from tip to tail)
180cm is the length measured in a straight line from tip to tail
and, quite amazing, the actual running length, this is the actual contact a ski makes with the snow on hardpack, is only 147cm ! this is mainly due to the huge tips and tails that are on these planks,
so in the end the running length on the 183TJ ended up being shorter than my 173cm mvmt joysticks...
so, definately go for 183 in size!
also a nice fact, the ski has tons of camber and very much pop, its quite stiff and altough i haven't yet tried it on a long run, but only indoor, i feel like this ski is very stable and can definately go fast and hard...
it has 2cm camber if you put them base to base, so that's almost bow like....
my fischer slalom skis don't even have that much camber left in them :)
