i just thought it would be useful in the classifieds. that way, you can update the sale when things are sold for the people who dont actually read the whole thread, which is alot of people.

Because if you could edit/delete threads then kids would post anything/everything with out regard to whether they actually should or not, because they would just go edit/delete it. There would be no consequence if you act/post like an idiot. Basically if you think there is a lot of BS in the forums now, if this option to edit were created, the BS would increase a thousand fold.

Plus we would have lost many epic threads which are now legends on NS. Examples being Faunt got bigger, Do I have a reason to be mad at me friend?, ECB banging his cousin, and countless other gems.
