Where to mount Scratch BCs

Im getting a pair in a few days, just wanted to know where people mounted theirs. Im leaning towards the forward mounting point, but I have never skied with a binding in this position. Is it really that hard to get used to? Will it fuck me up in the powder? Im in australia, but they are mainly for BC missions here and in colorado/Canada.
I did a search already, but I couldnt find anyone who said anything useful to me.
In tractor pulls, a 'full pull' is the best you can get. Ahh, how sport mirrors life.

if your going to ski park on them or like to do alot of switch riding mount them on the forward line, the difference doesn't look like that much, and i haven't seen anyone mount on the back line, unless they were riding the 188 nd didn;t do park.
But's i have never tried them at the different mounting points.

I mounted them on the forward line and for park skiing, it makes a good difference, I found. I was on the blue and white 1080's before and those were set back. it's easier to spin when they are center. the one downside to that is bumps. if you're gonna do alot of moguls, set them back, because having them center will throw you forward alot. hope this helps

if you're having trouble deciding, mount them right between the two lines. but center isn't really that hard to get used to, you just hit your tails against each other more than you're used to.

I also wonder the same thing, i bought the armada arvs, and i guess the difference between those skis arent that big. But what do you mean with mount them on the front line? is that centered?
Mounting the bindings centered or 2-3 cm back, will that make it much harder to ski powder then? or is it something you easy get used to?

rossignols scratch skis have 2 mounting lines, your arv's don;t they just have a recommend line, I wouldn;t mount much father than +1 cm forward on a pair of arv's that would be like not quite center. This would make skiing and landing switch more stable and give you a longer tail to stomp landings. The negatives are that it makes the ski feel shorter, and in deep pow you may get tip dive if your too far forward on the ski, and if im not mistaken, it makes your turning radius a little longer? in the post your 04/05 gear thread or whatever some has a pic of there 185cm arv's mounted at +1.
