I was always ahead of myself developmentally... I didn't get to be immature like everybody else ;)
Keeping in mind that 'over-mature' in grade 5 is like, grade 8 level. Not a big step. Still...
Been thinking a lot about that period lately, cause I found some old undeveloped film and there's a lot of pictures from back then. Some of it is wierd; I'm going 'Ok, I knew that person. Really well. What the hell was her name?!' I eventually figured that one out with some help. I don't have a great long range memory, as you can tell.

Yea it turns out my sixth grade girlfriend got fat and has this really creepy boyfriend now (im in grade 10), so im not missing too much. But girls are nice, and there is no harm in starting early
