Definitely the fascinate, its a lot more user friendly than the droid. It still runs droid software so you still get all the features of a droid, just in a format more like an iphone.

the droid has a metric shit ton of features, half of which are pointless but sweet to have when bored

I chose the droid x over the fascinate. The only different is rounded corners and the X has real buttons on the front. just play with them both and choose the one you like the most.
