False Imprisonment in schools

is it called false imprisonment if a teacher refuses to let you go to the bathroom during school. I think so at the definition of false imprisonmentis the unlawfull restraint of someone which affects the persons freedom of movement. Both the threat of being physically restrained and acually being physically restrained is false imprisonment and is illegal. i was just told that i couldn't go to the bathroom by my teahcer. I am in class and we have finals today so no one can leave class for 2 hours. i went online and printed out a definition of 'false imprisonment' slapped it on her desk told her its her time to learn somthin and i walked out of the room and took a piss she didnt say a damn thing when i walked back in. god damn i love proving people worng.

but when you go to school you lose many rights that you have and teacher can make any decision based on her safety class safety student safety. and lots of other stuff.

yeah, you have a lot of rights taken away at school. one time my friend (a girl) was leaning on my sholder and we had to go have a talk with the principle. it was the stupidest thing ever.

not false imprisonment, and you may technically be the one at fault for a violation of contract. If you are given a syllabus, it will often have things like exam policies. It may even be the in the school handbook. Your teacher may have also said it to you, which would be a verbal contract. By taking the class, you agree to the terms of it. Even ignoring that, there is a term, "in loco parentis," which basicaly says that the school is allowed to act in place of your parents as a legal guardian. Either way, you are essentially obligated by contract to stay, and violation of the contract can result in a number of punishments ranging in your case from failing the exam to getting kicked out of the class. If you made that much of a disturbance, they may have just decided to be nice and let you go and avoid a scene, but this is them giving up, not you proving them wrong. I'm all for standing up and asserting your rights when necessary and done respectfully, and there are many situations where it is, but from what you described, it doesn't appear to be the case here.
