Replying to Carinthia's Nitro & Titanium Open for Business 12/9
Nitro & Titanium opened nearly 24 hours ahead of schedule at 11am Thursday morning. Our mile long park features 11 jumps and 15 jib features adding to the 18 features already on the mountain in Mine Shaft, The Gulch and the Pit. Bringing our total up to 54 total features today probably 60 by the weekend.
Snowmaking continues on Lower Nitro, Junkyard, The Pipe, Prospector and Grommet. All with the exception of the pipe are expected to open either tomorrow or Saturday. Grommet will have it's little learning features in there and you might see a few natural features in Prospector by the weekend if we can get some good snow down there tonight to build out a few takeoffs.
The amount of snow on Nitro is impressive and make sure you take a good look at the Pipe as it is overflowing with snow!
So what's next? Obviously Prospector will be on the plate for our rangers but now that Nitro is open we'll shift back over to making some more snow on the Gulch and Mineshaft early next week for a rebuild. The Pipe is solid and our hopes if Mother Nature continues her good graces would be a Christmas Day Opening. Like a really big present.
I'm having issues with the link & photo options here but here are links to the park pages:
