Replying to WAR...and a lack of respect.

I read this quote recently and thought of it when kids on here were disrespecting pics of American soldiers.

I certainly do not support war, I am proud to be Canadian, a nation that is known for peacekeeping, but I am sickened by most of the kids in my generation today who are so quick to pass judgement on those attempt to defend their freedoms, and yet these same kids live for nothing drugs and partying and do nothing constructive to make the world a better place.

My buddy's dad died in Iraq. Without getting into the polotics of of war and whether or not the US should be in Iraq, there are people willing to die to defend the American way of life, to allow you to continue to enjoy skiing and mountain biking and having fun. If the terorists had their way, every city in North America would be 9/11 all over again. Its a little hard to enjoy skiing if you are dead.

So instead of trying to be cool and heaping disrespect on the soldiers in Iraq, ask yourself, What are YOU doing to make the world a better place??????
