This post is to help out anyone who is out looking for a new pair of skis and has come across the K2 Extremes:
The Extremes were made as an all around park ski. They may not look 100 percent like a park ski since they do not have a symmetrical tip/tail, but they are. Pretty much they should be mounted center or no more that 1.5 back from true center, and if you want them as an all mountain ski or all mountain/powder ski, you should look at Salomon Shoguns (which are rockered) or Rossignol S3's (also rockered) There are many other great all mountain skis.
If you are looking for a park ski, i would recommend these skis, however, they may not feel right on bigger kickers and out of bounds jumps.
I would only suggest these skis for off piste if you are looking for a one ski quiver and you desperately need a ski that can perform great in the park/all mountain and dont need it for powder unless its a 2-3 time thing per year.
That said, K2 is a great company that makes great skis, they only sell the best quality, and these skis are pretty cheap so its a great choice for the park skiiers with a budget and the all mountain skiier getting into the park.
