I dunno. I wouldn't trust batteries in the cold too much as that just kills battery life, not that it has much battery life anyways:

It does look pretty sick, but I just don't think it will work well for skiing in the cold. And changing batteries in the cold will suck.
I used to rock the Iolite pocket vaporizer (till I lost it) which was powered by butane and kicked ass The one down side was it did not work above 1800m elevation due to butane pressurization thing. But it kicked ass on peak to creek laps and I would blaze casually inside restaurants, movie theaters and bars. One butane fill would last about 90 minutes of continuous burning, and it only took two seconds to refill with butane carried in a small can in a backpack or pocket. If you are interested in one, I have an inside line even.
