Devastating moment in my life!

So i got a job this summer to get some $$$$$ for skiing so i could buy new gear and all that good stuff. I had pain in my wrist thinking i had some tendons that were ripped turns out a have a rare bone condition called Positive Ulnar Variance (ulna is longer than the radius) so next week i get 1 plate and a plethora screws in my arm and the hill i ski @ opens in a week or so. I think im going to go into deep depression because skiing is my love and i CANT SKI THIS YEAR. my parents said they would send me to alta and or snowbird for spring break is it worth a whole ski season? i need some vibes

dude, not being able to ski will suck but i think that going to Alta and snowboard would definetly release part of the pain ++++++++++vibes, good luck man

damn... if its giving you pain i would say get it fixed. with this condition i think theres probably a higher probability of fucking something in your wrist up because stuff isnt where its supposed to be. even just with normal use this is probably true because of pressure on the wrist in places it wasnt designed to be.

good luck man +vibes. i have to have jaw surgery in about a year and a half that will require my being off skis/bikes/everything for at least 4 months to avoid impact, possibly as many as 6 months.

Man bro i wish you could get your surgery in the spring. there is no worse crime in the world than making an NSer miss out on ski season. I might need surgerey havnt gotten my MRI yet (damn metal in my eye) but if i need it my orthopedist is gonna try to get my through my season then operate on my shoulder in the spring. that reminds me if you working on your edges were goggles cuz it will save you a huge pain in the ass if you ever need an MRI and chances are if your a park skier you will need an MRI at some point.

damn, dude, really a whole fucking ski season. That's a complete fucking disaster. I could not imagine anything more devastating.

Fuck off. find a real grievance. I would also focus on getting girl friend, or one of your arms will not be like the other in a few months.

sorry to hear man, hope you heal fast,

but why do you need your wrist to ski? LJ has been skiing with a broken wrist for the longest time and he seems to be doing fine (yes i know your condition is much different)

Vibessss dude I'm sorry thats a bummer. U gotta sneak out a few times just take it easy and get something to protect your arm . Lj skis in a cast and I've seen kids ski with a sling. Spring break will be I'll tho just try to find somethong to kep your min off it

I feel for you man.
The girl I'm oovooing feels for you man.
I don't know that it is worth it to be honest. You couldn't wait till the end of the year at all? Or just wait till february-ish and just ride or film, not actually do tricks? Nomatter what, defenitly do some filming with your crew. If you have to. just go up the lift on film days and camp it out at a feature and film.
