i work at a large football stadium as my summer job and we use the club cars made by EZ-GO all the time. anyone know how to make them go faster, ie remove the governor? thanks.

my friends got this old gas golf cart and we put new springs on it and big tires and old car seats, it tips like no otha, crazy fun... but no i dont know how to take off the gov

if they are the green ones...there is no governor...if they are orange...its right under the seat near the battery...we did it to one at my highschool like 2 years ago...the fucking thing hauled...then we crashed it

Yeah i work with th green ones (i work at a golf course) and i get to drive the things all day. We have one that has a flat-bedded area in the back, that thing hauls, it goes like 40 (mph), me and my buddy at work drove past one of those police things that tells you your speed. (yeah we broke the speed limit in a golf cart, what now?!)

my bors friend pimps them out as a second job. he started when he got one from his uncle and put a vw beetle engine in it and got like all performance parts for it. it did like 100mph

If its the same EZ-GO's that we have at the golf course i work at you can use a small stick , extra large golf, or the throttle cable (if it hasn't been cut shorter) to jam the gov open. the trottle cable works the best cause if you need to put the gov back on you can just pull the choke knob.

My friend has a moped, and we removed the gov, that was pretty sweet. But my grandpa use to have a 3 wheel golf cart, and my brother rolled it into a ditch it was pretty funny

all golf carts have goveners, lift up the seats an look for it, my grandfather showed me how a few years back but i forget where its located.

when the cart is not turned on push the gas or pull the choke knob and watch to see what moves, other than that it's hard to explain what it looks like. you'd need a pic. should be close to the battery

yea i learned how to drive one when i was 2, we have one now and it's killer, yea me and my buddy got kicked off our golf corse by trap jumpping
